WWC Roundtable Editon 1: Shay, Apollyon, Proudfoot, Zach

Ladies and gentleman welcome to the very first ever WWC Roundtable!! I am former NGCW, and current IWE and FGCW wrestler Mathias Grey, but tonight I come to you as the WWC COO!! Join me in welcoming my guests for this evening.. If NGCW hadn't closed its doors I would be sitting next to the current NGCW and NGCW Extreme Champion, but instead I am sitting next to former NGCW and current IWE and WWC superstar Shay Hoxton..

The camera pans out so that we can see Shay Hoxton sitting to Mathias' right.

Former NGCW Tag Team Champion, current COO of IWE, and currently the most talented Canadian WWC superstar on the roster, Chris Proudfoot!!

The camera continues to pan out so we can see Proudfoot sitting to the left of Mathias.

The camera continues to zoom out and we can see Zach Smith sitting to Proudfoot's left.

And the seven foot monster, Apollyon!!!

The camera finishes zooming out and we can see Apollyon sitting next to Shay Hoxton.

Alright.. First of all thank you all for being on the show!! My first question is simple enough.. Out of the wrestlers sitting around this table, who do you think will cause you the greatest challenge in the ring? Lets start with you Apollyon?

Mathias looks towards Apollyon.

Apollyon hasn't taken his eyes off of Shay Hoxton since the camera's turned on. He continues to glare at Shay, ignoring Mathias' question.

Mathias pauses for a moment, looking back and forth between Apollyon and Shay. The tension around the table can be felt. Zach Smith, Shay Hoxton, Mathias Grey, and Chris Proudfoot are all familiar with one another from their time together in different companies. They know what makes each other angry, and they can gauge when that anger will turn into a fight. Apollyon was unknown by the wrestling world prior to joining WWC, so unlike the rest of the wrestlers sitting around the table, no one knows what Apollyon's temperament is like. After a few moments Mathias finally breaks the tense silence with another question.

Uhmm. Okay. Let's get a little more specific with this question than. Rather than ask who would give you the hardest challenge in the ring, let's look to two wrestlers in specific. I'm not sure how the stipulations of the NGCW Brawl winner works, but as the would be current NGCW champion Shay, if you were to have had to go one on one with Chris Proudfoot at Onslaught who do you think would have come out the victor??

Grey, I know you enjoy your mind tricks and you like to stir up trouble. You and I go way back, so I'm not falling for it. Chris Proudfoot and I are buddies, friends, guys, you know? Chris and I will fight one day, and that's not a bet, it's a guarantee, so that question will be answered... eventually.

Shay looks at Apollyon and chuckles.

Like what you see? Don't worry mate, it's 2016, we won't judge.

Shay chuckles once more and looks over to Mathias.

Apollyon's expression stays the same as Shay mocks him, his soul piercing glare never leaving Shay.

You think you're some kind of comedian huh? Well I'm not laughing.. You know what would make me at least break a smile? Snapping each and every bone in your body one by one...

Mathias turns to Proudfoot.

Alright Chris. So it seems like Shay considers you two buddies of some sort. Perhaps of the butt variety? Kidding of course, I know that you two don't swing that way, or at least you Chris, not sure about Hoxton over there.. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this matter Chris? If the two of you were to face off for the NGCW Championship who do you think would have won? Or do want to join Shay in holding hands and singing kum-ba-yah around the table?

Shay smirks in the direction of Apollyon.

Yeah, that's kinda my thing, but maybe you should be a comedian instead! After all, trying to be intimidating is making me laugh my ass off.

Shay innocently looks at Chris Proudfoot.

Apollyon stands up and tries to flip the table over but realizes that it is nailed to the ground. He angrily throws his chair behind him and glares at Shay

Apollyon: Oh I'll do something to your ass alright!!!

Apollyon pauses for a moment, realizing how he said what he said. He sees that Mathias, Shay, Zach Smith and Proudfoot are all giving him weird looks.

Apollyon: Kicking it.. I'll kick your ass... That's what I meant.... Never mind.

Apollyon looks behind him, trying to see where he threw his chair off to.

Apollyon: SOMEONE GET ME ANOTHER DAMN CHAIR!!!! NOW!!!!

Mathias tries to hold back his laughter.

Mathias Grey
Someone get the man another chair dammit!!

A WWC staff member quickly rushes over with a chair for Apollyon. Mathias looks towards Shay as Apollyon sits down.

Okay. Are you two done?

Mathias looks towards Proudfoot before Shay has a chance to respond.

Mathias Grey
So Chris, back to the original question. Do you think you would have been able to defeat Shay Hoxton for the NGCW Championship if it came down to it?

He lights a cigarette and looks calmly at his fellow round table wrestlers.

When it comes down to Shay Hoxton vs Chris Proudfoot. It would come down to who wants it more. I talked to Suraci about Desire, about wanting something bad enough, and taking it. I did that at NGCW Brawl 2016, I did that when NGCW Sunk, and I was there with IWE to save everyones wrestling careers. I capatalized, and Now I am. The Man who Runs the show.

When it comes down to it. Shay couldn't win, Simply because I Want it more.

I tricked every single one of those Morons when I took off that mask, I shocked the world. And If it came down to it. for that NGCW Title. I'd do it again. That's a fact.

Shay glares at Proudfoot and slowly smirks at his friend. He leans back and checks his nails like nothing of importance happened.

This is pretty fun Grey, next question.

Shay quickly types something into his phone, the sound heard from the speakers, and a "sent" jingle is heard. He looks up at Mathias with a smile.

Mathias looks at Proudfoot and then at Shay.

I hope this interview isn't getting in the way of your important texts Shay. Or were you tweeting about your Perfume brand? Speaking of which, since your slogan is "smell like a sweaty wrestler after a five-star match" or something like that, I've been meaning to ask who's matches you had to watch to know what a five-star match is? Spade? Proudfoot? Suraci?

Mathias doesn't wait for an answer as he quickly turns back to Proudfoot.

And Chris, you're not allowed to smoke in here. I wouldn't have put it past Shay since he's from Reno where smoking indoors is allowed, but I didn't expect that you wouldn't know the rules... However I'll make an exception this time, after all it's not everyday that somebody of your caliber agrees to do this interview.

Mathias nods towards Shay.

Clearly... But all jokes aside, my next question is for any of you.. Next week on our first live show we will kicking off a tournament to determine the first ever WWC Champion!! I won't give you the details of the tournament yet, however I will be announcing it later. That all being said, who do you think will make it to the final two?

And for the record, I don't smoke, because smoking is for losers. You know how losers work, right Mathias? Of course you do. They can win all they want, because at the end of the day, they come crashing down, never to recover. All that they need to do, is do one thing wrong before their career spirals down into the unrecoverable darkness.

Shay sits back once again.

Well I know one person who it won't be. And that's Jason Spade. Once I'm through with him tonight he won't have a chance of walking on his two legs without the help of crutches, let alone a chance of making it to the finals of that tournament.

Apollyon stands up and reaches across the table towards Proudfoot and snatches the cigarette right out from his hands as he was about to take a hit of it.

I don't like the smell of smoke.. Unless it's from a fire that I caused.

Apollyon proceeds to put the cigarette out right on his arm without even flinching.

Better... Anyways, to answer your question Mathias.. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Cameron Kray who ends up facing me in the finals.. He's fighting for more than just himself, he's fighting for his family's legacy. I don't know what it's like fighting for family, but I know what it's like fighting with family. And if he feels like I do about my family, than nobody will be able to stop Cameron Kray. Nobody except for me..

However I'd love to crush any of your dreams of being WWC Champion. I just don't think that any of you have what it takes to make it to the finals... No offense.

But I don't nor do I care if you beat Jason Spade. I've beaten him, I think Shay beat him. But let's be real. The chances of you beating Spade are slim. He's a real competitor. With a Real name. Tonight at IWE Live! You face Cody Cannon, what are your thoughts on him? And how do you think you'll be able to beat the "Suplex and Submission Specialist"?

That's all I have to do Chris. Just show up to the match. One look at me and he'll realize that he's looking across the ring from the real deal, a former champion in NGCW, and a future champion in IWE. One look at me and he'll realize that the best option for him is to turn around and walk away as soon as that bell rings, just like Frazza B did in NGCW when I first faced him. However if he chooses to stand his ground and fight, if you can call it a fight.. Then I'll be glad to personally ensure that he'll be spending the next couple of days shitting out the teeth that I knock down his throat..

Submission Specialist? Please. Do you know who I've made tap out in my short career in NGCW? Jimmy Starr. Suraci. Lucifer Thorne three times!! And that's just the start of the list of wrestlers who thought that they could stand a chance in the ring with me. If you followed my MMA career Chris, you would know that Cody Cannon is no longer the Submission Specialist in IWE now that I'm here. I've made the toughest men in that industry tap out. I did the same in NGCW, and now I plan on doing the same in IWE, starting with Cody Cannon, even if he isn't even close to being one of the toughest men in that company..

But you know what. I won't even have to make Cody tap out to beat him.. Usually that's my last resort after my strikes, kicks, and amateur wrestling grappling experience isn't enough to get the job done. There are wrestlers out there who's willpower refuses to allow them to not kick out of a pin.. So I make them tap, because there's no amount of willpower that can stop an arm from snapping!! Cody won't be enough of a challenge to make me bring out the Triborough Lock. No. He's no Suraci. He's no Jimmy Starr. He'll stay down for the three count just like all of the other nobodies I've faced.. Suplex Specialist.. Don't make me laugh.. I've been suplexed in amateur wrestling, MMA, and pro-wrestling.. I doubt that Cody Cannon can do anything that I haven't seen before.. That I haven't beaten before...

But I'm getting carried away.. My next question for all of you... If you had to pick one tag team partner from either NGCW, IWE, or WWC that you haven't already tag teamed with, who would it be? I know mine would be Jason Spade. How about all of you?

Any wrestler huh? hm i'd probably go with Johnny Triad we we're in developmental together in NGCW and have worked together before and share a lot of the same views and I've seen a lot of his work and he can go in that ring he's just a pretty nice guy and i think our styles would mesh well together
